Where I can get the file com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda?

Hi guys,

I'm trying to establish a connection to the AS400 based on the following blog:

http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2013/06/24/as400-jdbc-on-pi

As the blog, I need com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda file which I can be found in the JAVA_OSINDEP_J2EE_INST folder of the PI 7.10 installation media.

But the problem is that I have not intslación DVD.

So, I tried to extract it from /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in SAPXI3RDPARTY*.SCA under the DEPLOYARCHIVES folder (based in the note 1770304).

But in this case the problem is that the com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda, neither is.

Any suggestions on how I can do to get com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda?

Thank you and best regards,

Martín

Hi Martin,

Try from SAP Service Marketplace: 1770206  - PI: How to extract the archive for deploying 3rd party drivers

Hi Iñaki,

I've seen that note, but as I said to Jörg the file is not contained

in the SAPXI3RDPARTY.SCA.

Thanks,

Martin

Martin,

The file should be in the folder DEPLOYARCHIVES under SAPXI3RDPARTY.SCA.

If its not there you can explore SAPXI3RDPARTY.SCA.by converting into SAPXI3RDPARTY.zip & then you can check on your own where it is located.

Hi Ashish,

I have searched the file you mention, but is not there.

This is my SAPXI3RDPARTY.SCA file.

And, this is the content:

As you can see, the file com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda is missing

Thanks,

Martin

Hi Javier,

On my system, is that directory. But I need com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda, to add a new library (.jar file).

I don't undertand why the file (com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda) is not conteined in the SAPXI3RDPARTY.SCA.

Thanks,

Martin

Ok.

Let's try this, it worked for me for axis adapter and you can use it for other drivers.

SAP Note 1028961 - How to prepare axisproviderlib.sda for Adapter Framework

At first sight maybe you think that is not related but includes the tool sdaMakerTool.jar. This tool let you create your own com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda

See below an screenshot:

Hope it helps

Hi Martin

Here you have a guide that contains all the libraries for XI development

http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/XI+libraries+for+development

Inside you can find the section: Where to get the libraries for XI development

you can try to search for the filename using a search command in the XI file system. from there, you can try to retrieve this file. see if this option helps you.

Hello Martin,

is this file deployed on your system (as it should be)? If yes, then you can find it somewhere on your installation drive. It should be contained in the SAPXI3RDPARTY.SCA. What is your problem? Is this file not there? Or is the adapter lib not contained in it (as it should be)?

Jörg

Hi Jörg,

The file com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda is deployed on my system, but it's not         conteined in the SAPXI3RDPARTY.SCA and do not understand why.

Thanks,

Martin
