Hi Experts,
I'm interested in building applications on a Java stack framework but I'm not sure the direction to take. Is Java WebDynpro dead? Should I use HML5 or some popular framework use in Java development.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Steven,
It's certainly not dead, but if you want to stay on top of the wave, why not have a look at SAP Hana Cloud platform? Next to being cutting edge, it also gives you a lot more flexibility and choice of UI technologies

Jun is at it again. Round 2.
Personally, I have to admit that it may be time to move forward. Web Dynpro Java will exist but as Robin said, to stay ahead of the wave I would suggest that getting into UI5 would be the best option for Java based developers.
SAP has earmarked it as their preferred UI for custom developments(apart from Business packages) in combination with Fiori.

Sharath
