JDBC driver not getting deployed using SUM

Hi All,

We have to integrate our PI 7.31 dual stack system with MS SQL DB.We have downloaded required jdbc 2.0 driver (sqljdbc.jar and sqljdbc4.jar) suitable to our OS and followed the steps mentioned in note 1138877 for deployment.

The only difference is that we are using software update manager (SUM) for deploying not using JSPM as from PI 7.31 we should go with SUM.

We started SUM and our sda file got detected and continued all steps and at last we got DEPLOYED status.

But the deployed driver is not visible in /usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/j2ee/cluster/bin/ext/com.sap.aii.adapter.lib/lib directory.

I established JDBC connection to confirm on the same and as expected  it gave below mentioned error

Cannot establish connection with the registered driver.com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver  returns:com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver SAPClassNotFoundException:com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver'.

Have any one come across such issue? Does SUM support JDBC driver deployment or we need to go with JSPM? Please help.
