Schema for BW DSO

Hi there,

We have upgraded our BW system to Hana. I did select several DSOs to be Optimized for SAP HANA and expected to see these DSOs under a catalog under the SAP HANA system in Hana Studio. However, I can't see the schema of SAPSR3 but my Basis with Admin rights able to see it. Do I need access as Admin to see this schema?

I do agree with Ravindra that it is indeed a issue with authorization.

However, It is no more required to convert Standard DSO to HANA optimized DSO. You may like to check SAP note 1849497.

Hi Azmi,

The user id by which you are connecting to the HANA Studio, should have SELECT access on the schema which owns the BW objects. Please ask your Basis admin (HANA Security team) to add the required access (GRANT SELECT .. ) to your HANA user id.
