Attribute value displayed as # in the WAD ouput

HI Experts,

I have a query where if i execute ,the Entity values for an Orgunit display correctly when this entity is added as free characteristic. Now the problem is if i dont add as free char & in the report ,from the ORGUNIT properties in the attribute tab i select the entity feild , then its displaying # values. Kindly help me on this. Thanks in advance
