Split table via table splitting tool taken Huge table export

Hi experts,

we are planning  to OS Migration  & some doubt in table splitting.

we split table  via table splitting tool and taken export then how those table are exist in TRBAT's.

because if it not remove from TRBAT then SAPINST take export of those table which i have already taken export via TABLE splitting tool.

or suggest me the correct procedure.

Hello,

Table splitting in only to split tables to reduce the time for export. Table splitting is not intended to take export of tables.

Procedure to reduce time for export is:

1) Identify bigger tables and number of splits that you want to perform for each table.

2) Run table splitting. It will only generate only WHR files and no export will be performed.

3) Start export. It will export all data including tables that were splitting earlier.

So, In nutshell, table splitting does not export data.

thanks for the suggestion.

I generate the WHR files and placed in DATA directory.

migmon is using to Take export .

we are running manually migmon but STR file contains the table entry.

we are doing wrong or suggest for any precautions.

Procedure looks fine. But any specific reason to use migmon manually.
