Hi Experts ,
How to capture the date of last inspection in a batch or in an inspection lot ? There is no re-occurring inspection scenario. A manual inspection lot is created when and where required and the data of last inspection need to be captures.
I'd suggest using the UD date from the QAVE table.
You can attach a follow-up action to the UD code that would run after the UD is made. You'll have to write the FM for the follow-up action. Have it get the date from the QAVE table. I would probably put this into one of the extra date fields found on the second tab of the batch record, (MSC2n). I believe there are 8 extra date fields there. You can then create a general characteristic LAST_INSPECTION that references the date field you use to hold the date. Put the LAST_INSPECTION characteristic into the batch classes that you use.
