Projects created from Item don't appear on Prj dashboard

We create projects only from Portfolio Items, not as standalone. However, in such a case, we see that the projects do not appear on the project dashboard. How can we have the projects to appear on the proj dashboard too?

There are certain aspects of the project that the user will refer to the Portfolio Item dashboard to view, and some other from project dashboard. And therefore, we need to have them appear on both dashboards.

Please advise.

In order for the project to be visible in someone's dashboard, that person needs to be staffed on that project.

Hi Deepak,

which view of the project dashboard do you refer?  'My projects' 'Last used' 'Favorite' or the 'Substitute'.

Regarding the displayed projects  in 'my projects', Please see details in consulting note 1122183.

Essentially the user should be staffed to and the role (or the business partner) should be  repsonbile for project elements.
