BW on hana sizing

Hello Team,

When we executed sizing report for our NW 7.3 sp6  BW system we got below output.In that output  Disk space it has given as 1207GB and log space as 1207GB but according to the sizing note disk space should be 4* memory .So do we need to take disk space as 1207GB or else 4*1207 GB .Could you please tell me which one we have take as disk space.

                                                                                                              512GB NOde         1204GB node

Memory Requirement (Minimum Total):                    1207 GB	1157 GB
Disk Space Requirement - data (Minimum Total):         1207 GB	1157 GB
Disk Space Requirement - logs (Minimum Total):         1207 GB	1157 GB
Number of Nodes incl. master  (Minimum Total):            4	3

It looks like there is some problem with sizing report. Could you please confirm if you have used latest report by applying SAP note 1736976 ?

i am using the latest report only.i am having latest ST-PI patach also in my sytem.

1.Here my question is do we need to go with 4 times of memory as the disk sapce.

2.Do we get the file system size also constant as CPU was pre configured with the appliance?

I ran this report few days ago on one of my system and output was as below:

Phys. memory per node:

512 GB

1024 GB   |

| Memory Requirement (Total):	4849 GB  |  4599 GB  ||
| Disk Space Requirement - persistence (Total):	19252 GB  | 18252 GB  ||
| Disk Space Requirement - logs (Total):	4849 GB  |  4599 GB  ||
| Number of Nodes incl. master (Total):	11	|	6

So, it is as per recommendation. Could you please run this report again?

So i think i need to run the report once again.One more doubt .

2.Do we get the file system size also constant as CPU was pre configured with the  HANA appliance?or else we request as much files system as we required.

File system you can request based on your sizing report Disk space requirements.
