Using Standard Workflow template WS 20000035

Hello All,

I am using the standard workflow template WS 20000035. On the Creation of the Quality Notification , i am expecting , information mail to the assigned Partners as Interested Parties in my Notification. I am using the the Rule AC20000021. I do not want to create the Task TS20000068 as standard task, as that triggers mail to all.

I am getting my workflow triggered , but error in Agent determination.

In the detail steps , error message is

Result of agent resolution does not agree with agents of task

Message no. SWF_RUN544 .

please suggest, how should i use this standard rule successfully.

Regards,

Neeraj Singh

Ensure that the Task attribute is set to "General task - Forwarding allowed".

Also check in "Maintain Agent Assignment" that no relationship is maintained.

Hope this helps.

Hello Vimal,

I maintained Task Attribute as , General forwarding allowed only and also no agent is assigned in Agent Assignment.

Hi Neeraj,

If you are using a rule, execute it and see what agents it returns.

i.e., if you are using Rule 20000021, check what agents it returns.

I am running WS20000035 without any modifications and it works just fine.

Please let us know if you have done any modifications.

Thanks,

Vimal

Hello Vimal,

I am getting the Agent in Rule Simulation.I will  detail what i did,

1. IN OQNW-> I have activated the WS 20000035 > BUS 2078 CREATE.

2. In OQNW-> Manatin Agent Assignment - Task Attribute maintained as - General Forwarding Allowed.

3. I did not assigned any agent to Task in Agent Assignment.

IN Workflow Builder:

4. In the TASK Screen , I have default Rule to task as 20000021. And Maintained Binding as &_WI_OBJECT_ID& --> &NOTIFICATION& .

5. Rule Binding, is maintained as &NOTIFICATION&--> &NOTIFICATION&

Please let me know , if i am doing wrong.

Neeraj

Hi Neeraj,

Did you make the Workflow template also as General Task ?

Go to Header and then change workflow task attributes and make it as general task.

Do the same process for the work item task also ( i hope you have already done that ).

Also do the following steps after you have done the above steps:

Refresh the organizational environment from the path below:

Goto transaction SBWP -->Settings --> Workflow Settings --> Refresh Organizational environment

Also execute the transactions : SWU_OBUF & PPWFBUF and clear the buffers by executing it.

Reward if helpful.

Thanks,

Hello Ajay,

No , I did not maintained it as General Task, but as General Forwarding allowed.

As on defining it as General , the workflow triggers mail to all without considering Rule, means agent determination rule out put is not considered than.

Hi Neeraj,

There are task properties at Task and Workflow Level. Make sure you make both as general task.

Also it wont send mail/ work item to all users. It will send only to those users which are obtained via the rule resolution.

Please check the settings I have mentioned and try again.

Thanks,

Ajay

Hi,

You can use the workflow log to find out what the content is of the containers being passed to the rule.

Then in PFAC transaction you can test this rule and find out exactly what is causing this problem, or how to use this role (might be missing responsibilities)

Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

Hi Rob,

I tested in PFAC, and the same rule works fine with the same Notification number. It gives me the Partners assigned as IT( Interested Parties), but when working in WF , it dose not finds the Partner.

Hi,

In that case check if you use correct database references in your workflow container, 3 can be different than 0003 for instance in some rule determinations.

Also use the workflow log to find if the agent determination is not the problem, but the assignment or does the task have exceptions of agents?

Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

You might have better luck with that question in the workflow area.
