Hi,

Here is ur problem n solution

SAP Note 801868 - Q 11

11. When I start the Integration Repository/Directory applications, a Java 'NullPointerException' occurs. What should I do?

For XI 3. 0 lower than SP 11, an error occurs when you try to start the integration repository or directory by using JRE 5.0. JWS terminates the start process and displays a 'NullPointerException'.

Solution:

a) Upgrade to the most recent SP (11 or higher) .... or

b) Prevent the use of JRE 5.0 in JWS but allow the use of JRE 1.4.2. Note that you need to have installed JRE 1.4.2 to do this. Start the JWS interface and deactivate Java Runtime Version 5.0.

Hi,

please check the Java webstart is installed or not , it version is 1.4.2_13 or you can do it from XI Home page and goto client installation guide lines and click on download java westart.

Also install JSDK with same version .

remove all previous JRE,JSDK,Java westart like 5.0 versions uninstall.

and set runtime environmental variables like JAVA_HOME and classpath to above jsdk installed directory.

Now try ..
