Approval authorization for users in PR release.

Hi SAP gurus,

I have configured PR release procedure. 3 level approval.

XX is the release group, 01 is release group. 01, 02 and 03 are release codes.

Characteristics created for PR document type, plant, Acc assignment, item category, and creator.

Now I’m getting problem is assigning approval authorization to each user.

The same release strategy and release codes are created for other release group.

EX- release group YY, is release group. 01, 02 and 03 are release codes.

I told Basic consultant to assign by using release group, release strategy and release codes.

But in standard sap authorization object is available for only release codes, not available for group and release strategy.

Hi please share your ideas, under what basis we can give authorization to the users.

Low level user- release code 01

High level user- releases code 01, and 02

manager- release code- 01, 02 and 03

Hi,

Use object M_EINK_FRG for PR release and assign release group and release code to below given fields:

FRGCO: For release code

FRGGR: For release group

Assign proper value while assigning these object to any user.

M_BANF_BSA -Document Type in Purchase Requisition

M_BANF_WRK -Plant in Purchase Requisition

M_BANF_EKG -Purchasing Group in Purchase Requisition

M_BANF_EKO -Purchasing Organization in Purchase Requisition

M_BANF_FRG -Release Code in Purchase Requisition

coordinate with basis consultant and assign to the user

Also to get the authorisation object use the T code SU21 , there you can find all objects
