HTML Control in Sap Screen Personas

Hi,

I want to know how HTML Control in Sap Screen Personas works since when I´m in edit mode and double click the html control it requests a url, not a html code.

However, when I exit the edit mode I don´t see the site I want to be shown. That´s why I thought about how to enter the html code instead of the url in the first place.

Hi Maximilian,

Please make sure that you have entered this URL in the whiltelist table. You can do that in SPRO.

For a start, you can even put "*" as an entry. Save and restart Personas.

If above does not help, if you are using Personas SP02 and using IE8, implement SAP note 1916117.

This is latest note for SP02 as of today, and has some fix for html controls for IE8.

Hi Sushant,

I am trying to do the same using IE9 and also in the list of whitelist url I can see entry "*" but I still can't see the url in the html viewer control.

as suggested in mail, google.com does not allow to be embedded as an iframe.

The URL to use in the HTML viewer is http://www.google.com/custom?q=

Hi Maximilian,

The HtmlControl is technically an iframe. So, you enter a url, and your browser will fill the HtmlControl with the HTML content available at the given url.
