Unable to establish RFC connection

Dear All,

I have developed an RFC to JDBC scenareo in the PI ssytem. But when I'm trying to execute the 'connection test' in RFC connection (R/3 system - SM59)

below error is generating. I know that this has been discussed many times but I am unable to find a solution in any thread for this.

Hi Tharu,

please check if the RFC connection (Type T) has Unicode checked. After the sender RFC channel is activated, check SMGW to make sure the program is registered.

Hi,

When you active your sender rfc channel also is registered the transaction program.

To see your program:

In R/3 system, enter in transaction SMGW -> GOTO-> Logged on clients . There should be an entry for the server program in the screen that is displayed with system type Registered_TP (which indicates that the program is registered).

Hi,

You must register the program ID on the receiving system too.

Take a look at this: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/78/20244134a56532e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm and do a search on Program ID

I guess you need to use the SAP NetWeaver Administrator, but the principle is the same.
