Issue with authorisations

Hi,

We are facing the following issue - some user seems to have added _SYS_BIC schema to the PUBLIC role.

As a consequence, package level authorisations are not working. Users are able to view and consume packages created by other users which they are not suppose to.

Upon trying to remove the _SYS_BIC schema from the role, the system puts it back. This happens even if the deletion is done with SYSTEM user.

Pl advise how can this be resolved. Thanks.

Hi Saurabh,

Make sure that those users do not have system privilege ROLE ADMIN.

First remove this privilege.

There is also a chance that the same privilege (_SYS_BIC) added to more than 1 role and the user might have one of those roles.
