How to build a Web Dynpro ABAP to display an ArcGIS map

Hi,

We would like to try a small proof of concept where we would like to build a simple WD ABAP and present a base map coming from ArcGIS. Then, we would like to drop an object on a map by feeding some spatial coordinates.

Does anyone ever tried to do a similar thing? If yes, could you please throw me some lights?

Hi Ricardo,

SAP offers a GeoMap element that uses a third-party software component. This may meet your needs though  the software is not ArcGIS. See Note 994568 - GIS Implementation.

Hi Ricardo,

I am not sure it is possible to build or integrate GIS system through webdynpro ABAP with real time data mapping.

Long back we to even have a discuss on the same with GIS system but map was not possible to build in webdynpro ABAP with real time data so we drop it.
