How to group customer fields in SRM on WD - Metadata Framework

Hello,

SRM provides a metadata famework to add fields on either header or item level. This works fine and might be suficient if you have only a few fields.

In my case I have a bunch of fields which need to be logically grouped and placed on WD.

Does anybody of you know how to do this (w/o modifying)? Is this possible at all?

I came across your query while browsing for a solution of similar problem.

Here is my query.

SAP has provided some option which seems to be helping us, but looks like I am missing something and not able to configure it correctly.

If possible, give it a try.

Hi Thomas,

I think you only have two options:

You can add the fields dinamically creating an enhancement point in the WebDynpro you want to add the fields, or using the badi WD_BADI_DOMODIFYVIEW.

Or you can add the fields in design time in the layout of the Webdynpro View (creating also an enhancement point).
