Hi,
In LX26, for one of the bin, the proposal date shows to be in december 2013. However, the last inventory date is in december 2011 and the interval is 252 working days and no of fiscal inventories per fisacl year is 1.
Could you please suggest what would be the possible reason for proposing a date in decemebr 2013 when the last inventory date is in 2011
Thanks
Deepthi
you missed somehow to count that material in 2012.
The material is proposed according to the customized interval. e.g. in december 2012 if last inventory was in december 2011. then it is continously proposed until the floating time is over. It is then not proposed until the next regular inventory period.
December 2011 + 252 (missed to count) + 252 = next count.

Hello,
The possible reason is, you have missed the counting in 2012. As you noticed now that you have missed the count, I would suggest you to count it manually today using LI01N. The last inventory date would be updated as today's date. After 252 days from now the bin would be suggested for inventory. Else, you can also do the counting in the month of Dec 2013. System would always update the last inventory date on which the actual counting is done.

For Cycle Counting you define how many counts you want to perform during the year.
If for that class (you set the CC class in material master data) you defined only 1 count, it will propose the date starting from the preceeding inventory date (if this exists) or from the beginning of the current year (if there is no preceeding date)
In your case, as stated by Jurgen, you missed one to count it in 2012 so it takes the date from the beginning of this year
