Add new custom field in BUS2032 to mass change

Dear All,

We have one case in which we have to change some data in thousands of sales order.

That field is custom field and in table VBAK.

Please guide me how to add this new fields to BUS2032 so that we able to mass change the sales orders.

Hi Kumar,

I am afraid it isn't possible. Please, see SAP Note 414020 - MASS: Customer fields are not mass-maintainable for further information.

Not possible for mass change. You ask abap people to write code and modify it. If you want to change with bapi place that field in extension and try.

Madhu is right, you can do it with BAPI and help of extension, if the field must be character. Please, see these notes

you can add the filed in Object BUS2032 by transaction SWO1. Donno ,who is responsible for this transaction exactly but ask Basis guy.

Can you tell me in more details that which custom field you are using,if possible with screen shot.

Also what data type you are using?

You can go with BDC if the same field is not available in the MASS.
