SAP Solution manager Installed with Base version

Hi all,

We have installed the latest Solution Manager 7.1  with the base package level by mistake which was released last year.  But there latest SPS08 has been released by Feburary of this year. But while pointing the export file we have given the base level.

As of now the installation is completed and the system is running. I have planned to update to the latest SPS08 through SUM by downloading as bundle from the SAP Market place.

Will it work or do i need to do the patch level one by one?

Warm Regards,

Sudhakar G

Hi Sudhakar,

Also check the below document for satck generation in mopz

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-26893

Once the stack is generated in Mopz, use the SUM tool for upgrade.

You can upgrade directly to latest patch level using SUM. You need to download all stack files from MOPZ.

Thanks,

No, You need to download all the patches from base level to SP08. Download it via MOPZ, it will take care of all dependencies.

Thanks,
