Incident Management on WebUi (Position Type)

Hi experts,

we are using Incident Management on Solman 7,1 based on WebUi.

Now I get at changing an incident, the error message that the Position type "SIMP" is not valid.

This error I get, because I've changed the SIMP to a ZIMP.

And the error is now occuring for the old Messages, which are still using SIMP.

But how can I correct the old incidents now?
I don't see any field, where i can Change SIMP to ZIMP.

hi,

There is no transaction type as SIMP, so that when you search you are gettting the error as "position type unvalid".

To make the default message type as Z, just follow mentioned above by Prakhar, some more info can get here

Hi Christian

Incident management transsaction type is SMIN it is not SIMP

further you can check in Dno_cust04 table the below entry should be there for SMIN or ZMIN for customer type if you have created a Z*.

Let us know further

If you are in VAR then it will SMIV
