Hello,
I've been doing a research for the following. The requierement is to have a new SAP AS Java installed, but use an exisiting Oracle RAC for its DB instance.
From this Oraclle White Paper:
I understand that "there is no option available from SAP to install an Oracle RAC enabled database directly", so I need to do a SAP new install and then have the database migrated to the existing RAC?
I was thinking of a possible workaround by installing a Distributed system and having the DB instance installed directly in the RAC nodes, though I'm not sure if this is even possible or supported.
Thanks and regards,
JM
