Hi  SD gurus,

I received one ticket regarding Sales BOM item, eaxpmle

1) I created order and delivery  also completed but when ever we see the sales order system is showing in order item level  delivery status is "not delivered" where you have to controlled.

Dear Suman sandar,

VL_COMPLETE TCODE  is using delivery level but my question is regarding in sales order item level

    system showing  (delivery status is not deliverd LFSTA) and over all status is(OPEN) IN THIS case I want update status is  ( complete) is automically? How is it  possible it is very urgent

I have check in our schedule line category  is activate both main item and sub item is also maintian (item is relvant for delivery), How ever as per our analysis  In item catagory mainitem isZBOM        Please check below functions

                Item type(B means TEXT ITEM)

                Schedule line catagory is actived.

                No billing relvance

                No pricing.

In Sub item catagory ZIAN Please check below functions;

              Pricing is activated,

              Item is relvant for delivery

              Schedule line catagory is activated

              Billing revalce (A) deliver related billing.

Note: main item and sub item schedule catagory is atvated to item is relvant for delivery

For BOM main item and sub item it is not necessasry that we deliver main item or sub item only. we can deliver both items based on our scenario and configuration of schedule line category.

Could you please share the technical name of that field? Is it VBUP-LFSTA or VBUP-UVVLK? Are you checking this for main item or sub item? In item category of BOM main item and sub item what is maintained in delivery relavant and also check in schedule line category settinfs which is assigned to BOm main item and sub item.

MoazzaM's suggestion is in the correct direction!

Check the schedule line category assigned to the main item and the sub item.

If both schedule line categories are activated for file "Item rel. for delivery", then when delivery is created - it shall have both main item and sub item.

Check in the delivery whether main and sub items are populated?

Also with the creation of delivery; in the sales order, the field "Delivery status" shall be Fully delivered for all the line items (main and sub).

I have tested. And these are the results.

Discussing your post could add value! Therefore the below question -

In item category of BOM main item and sub item what is maintained in delivery relavant

If main and sub items are being physically delivered, then fields that control delivery process are at schedule line category level and not at item category level (per se).

What did you mean when you suggested to look in the item categories?

If you provide any program and any tocdes is automaticaly to update in delivery status in sales oder  item levels

      I am saying for ex: deliver status is update by using tcode VL_COMPLETE

IN  this case if any related to tcodes update  delivery status in sales order item levle

Could you please provide  any suggestions its very urgent.

Why is the main item a text item?

VL_COMPLETE is for delivery. For sales order we dont have any other option other than to reject that item.

There was no some special intention to ask OP for both fields. Delivery control is there in schedule line category and this can impact the status. I just gave an idea so that OP may read F1 help of both fields which are self explanatory.

Hi,

For Any BOM Items you can only deliver either main item or Sub-item

based on this you need to Configure the Item Categories and the Copy controls.
