Extension field not retaining value in Agreement

Hi,

We have run into a strange issue for our application. We have defined extension fields in our agreement (1003).  The values are entered into the extension fields  and we click save and done and exit out of the agreement as well as the master agreement. When we go back to the agreement (directly or through master agreement), the values  disappear. Strangely this occurs only in our Q and production environments, and not in dev. This also occurs in version 7 and version 9. we are in the midst of out production upgrade  from 7 to 9. We have an oss message out , but would be great if anyone can throw  any pointers . As such there are no differences in the installs. between the environment.

Hi Rani,

Maybe you have resolved the issue. In case you have not kindly check if the Load event script has been transported from DEV to QAS and so on.

Usually the extension field values need to be maintained through Load event.

Thanks Arijeet. We found that this was a product issue. We did not have any extensions on the master agreement. The extension table at the agreement level due to a bug in the product resulted in two rows at DB level and one of them had blank values. This resulted in the value not being  seen when the agreement was refreshed. We have currently done a workaround given by SAP to create a hidden dummy extension at the master agreement so that the correct  row is selected. Meanwhile SAP is addressing this issue in the next release.
