Authorization issue on 0VTC Transaction

Dear,

I have an authorization issue with the route definition transaction (0VTC).

In a SAP role I give access to the transaction 0VTC for the activities "Display" and "Change" but I would like to avoid that the transaction is called in Change mode. Is it a way to call the transaction in Display mode and go in change mode when it's required?

Hi Jean

Yes there is a way and this is simple. Just follow the steps

1. Go to SE93 and give 0VTC Transaction code click on change.
2. On the bottom of screen there is Default Values grid. You will see Name of screen Update and Value X. Just change the update in Show. Save and test again.

Right! I changed the value Update by Show and in this way I avoid that the users go directly in change mode in SAP tables.
