You create a contract in SRM 7.02 with purchaser A and you release the contract so the status is in approval, if you'd try to modify the contract with another user (purchaser B same purchaser group of A) you can't because there is no Edit button available.
The SRM application restricts release of changes to the document owner which is in case of contracts the document creator. As such only the user who has created the documents has the right to change the document. Once the contract is released, the approver can either accept it or reject it.
No possibility to assign authorization purchaser group level instead of the person that did last change?
The only way to change it is to use a BAdI?
Thanks
Paolo
Hi,
Approver can change contract as Edit button is available.
If it's not there, you should check Control Actions in SPRO, just in case if it's disabled.
