EHP 6 Upgrade - Locked Transport (Already Released)

Former Member

Hi there,

We have a sandpit system cloned from our current ECC DEV system.

I am now trying to upgrade the sandpit to EHP 6.

I've got as far as the 5.3 Pre-processing phase and it has stopped due

to locked objects within a transport.

When I go into SE10 to try and change/delete the locked object/transport

I am getting the message 'Request/Task ******** already released (not modifiable)'

I had already set up up a virtual QA so that it would have somewhere to release to.

This is just a sandpit so I dont really care what happens to this transport. I just

need to remove it so the objects can be unlocked.

Does anyone know how can this be done??

Thanks

Andy

Hi there,

Many thanks for all your replies.

I have managed to fix it now.

SE38 - Report RDDIT076

Here you enter a Request No and can reset the status back to modifiable.

I then simply deleted the locked objects from the transports.

Happy days

Thanks

Andy

To add to Ashish and Rishi's comments. You could also look for the object and remove the repair flag that should let the upgrade continue.

HI,

What do you see in SE01.. there is a tick mark if transport(along with task) is released. If this is released, you can repeat the phase in SUM and see what happens.

Hi,

You cant delete the released object.

Please see if the Task is released and the request is not release. if so select the request and release it.

If the task is not release you need to release the task and then the request.

But i think that you are trying to delete the release transport that is the reason you are getting the message

I am getting the message 'Request/Task ******** already released (not modifiable)'

Please see the task reported by the sum tools and try to lease the transport and the task.

Thanks
