Hi,
Once you have installed the content server you need to have web service (Apache or IIS for windows) to get connection to the content server.
The you need to create Repository in Oaco transaction in SAP .
Run report RSCMSPWS and enter the connection information for database user in database. In NOTE: for MaxDb, please enter username and password in capital!
Call transaction CSADMIN to maintain the repository connection
Create user: abcd on ECC
Activate Content Server HTTP service using transaction SICF. The service is under default_host -> SAP -> BC -> contentserver.
Enter the user just created (abcd) on Logon Data tab. Save it
Content server is used to store document and while saving the documents you can pass the repository and the documents can be saved in the content server.
Thanks

Hi,
Please check the below note why do you need the user to maintained in the service in the ERP system.
1676171 - Prompting user to login when you open the attachment
Another eg just to explain why you need it.
1898201 - Access fails to repository with storage type 'R/3 system database'
I gave SAP all and made it a system user.
Thanks

Can you please pass on to me more details about the error.
Initial check:
Web service is running.
Content server is running.
What about the Repository in OACO.is it green. Did you exchnage the cert when you go in OACO tab in repository and then click on CSADMIN and then cert.
Thanks
Rishi Abrol
Two tests are in error:
1) RSCMSTH0
2) RSCMSTH2
Now i try solve the problems with this errors.
If I understood right, there are two ways to transfer data to a content server: KPRo and Arhivlink.
Please, explain me, what is better to use and what else should I do so that the data sent to the content server?
In t-code OAC0 i use Document Area: Document Man. System is it right?
Thank ypu for answers.
