Im using SAP PI 7.1. is this a bug or something that needs some configuration?

Hello,

As far as I know, Java 6.0 is for PI 7.3 and above. PI 7.1 should use Java 5.

should i download the sdk or jre for version 5.0? thanks!

Hello TJ,

Download the SDK because it contains the jre and you could also use it in Eclipse.

You can use java 1.5.15 which is compatible with both versions.

Hi Ronald,

Go ahead with Mark suggestion, also check that your user has SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_J2EE and SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER_J2EE roles.
