Route and Route Determination

Hi Experts,

I have a question regarding routes and route determination.

Our Client has a requirement of maintaining routes by ZIP Codes.

We have around 50 Thousand Transportation Zones and 400 Thousand route determination entries to be maintained.

1. Does anyone foresee a problem in maintaining such huge number of entries.

2. Will there be any performance issues or so during orders, deliveries etc...

3. Do I need to take care of something else while we upload the data.

Just want to make sure I am not missing anything important.

Hi,

Instead taking ZIP code for the Route determination you can check other parameter for the configuration.

Thanks for your reply. Can you please elaborate on Other Parameters.. Do you mean to Say We should look at Transportation Group or Creating T Zones by County.

They want to tender based on Zip to Zip Shipments and that's why they want to have this.

BTW, if you can provide your inputs on these too, that would be great.
