Our team basis have created a copy of the client PRD for have a test client QAS.

However the applications for Performance Management not work and not allow open the Appraisal Document : The cause is because this call the other application server of PRD generating the following message

Was ist passiert ?

Method: DESCRIBE_BY_NAME of program CL_ABAP_TYPEDESCR=============CP

My question is: What should check the team basis for that the application work fine.?

Thank in advance

Regards

Hi Juan

i believe you should ask for the log or check in scc3 if the client copy went successfully first.

then there are plenty checks that you can need, for example if the client copy was performed without users or processes locking hr tables; are the test and prod releases completely equal?

Let me know how it goes

Hi mate

that log is not up to date and it's local.

Try the same thing in your target system or ask to your basis (which is common sense)

let me know

right,

there are two ways

-logging to target sap system and same scc3 transaction you should find the entry related to your client copy and then check if there is successfully completed as well

-logging to target operating system and check from in the transport directory (which is located to the trans host system) the flat text file log of your client copy that should look like

\\saptranshost\sapmnt\trans\log\CC0000007.SID (where sid is sid of your target)

this could be helpful for you junior basis

if you are really struggling with this let me know if you desire to open a teamviewer connection

Speak you tomorrow

I am checking the service hap_main_document in the t-code SICF:

Button: Display Inheritance (F6)

Button SAML Configuration ,

RFC Destination: SAPJ2EE

Clic in the button Test Connextion, and the system display a window popup with the following message

Error when communicating with RFC destination

SAPJ2EE: Bean BC_SEC_SAML_SERVICE not found on

host pbmdeadbox04, ProgId=sapfallback: Object no

found in lookup of BC_SEC_SAML_SERVICE.

Hi,

Can you please login in sm59 and then Connection type TCP/IP.

Click on SAPJ2EE rfc.

Please check what is maintained in there.

Have your basis team ran SECSTORE transaction and cleared all the red RFC in there.

Thanks
