Standard Refurbishment Order process

Hello Experts

Any body would like to share Standard SAP refurbishment process steps with transactions involved ? I want to propose standard refurbishment process to customer.

Please reply in brief.

You need to have material master for this spare part with Split Valuation. (C2, C3)

C2- Repaired Spare

C3- Damaged Spare

Initially you may need to post few C2, C3 spare parts as per the actual stock in the Storage Location though MIGO 501.

Key Configuration setting:

Indicate Order Types for Refurbishment Processing

T Codes:

IW21 -->                 If the Refurbishment Order is supported by a job request by the Customer

IW81-->                In case there is no IW21 in the process.

IW41 -->                Confirming (Partial quantities or full quantity  DLV status)

MB1B, MIGO -->          Transfer C3 Material (to be refurbished) between storage Locations

MB11 -->                To take the C3 Material  into the Refurbishment Order

IW8W -->                 Repaired material transfers from Order to Inspection Lot (as C2)

QA32 -->                 Material Inspection and Transfer to Storage Location Unrestricted Stock

TECO -->                       Technical Completetion

Yes Sir ,

I saw shared link too while searching but found it in disperse answer Let me try to converge it in one way. I need to configure a refurbishment process in which customer want to get refurbishment notify through M1 notification and then I want take SAP standard PM04 order ,  I don't think so I need to configure  this setting as it should be already there please correct me if I am wrong somewhere ?

Indicate Order Types for Refurbishment Processing

If yes then please share SPRO path accordingly.

Also I am unable to understand QA32 transaction ? Why it is required ?

QA32 will be useful if you want to record some Inspection results on the equipment which has been refurbished. If you don't want to have, then you can avoid that step.
