Blocking of post goods isssue in the delivery

Is there any provision of blocking at post goods issue level in the delivery. if there pl explain entire process.

Hi,

Do you want to block the delivery being created or you want to block the PGI in delivery.

If you want to block the delivery being created, then you can put delivery block at sales order header level.

Define delivery block via IMG/Logistics execution/Shipping/Deliveries/Define Reasons for Blocking in Shipping for example 'PGI Block'.For this block check 'SpW' check box(This is to block the PGI).Assign this block in the delivery header-> administration tab.

Hi Raghava,

You may use delivery block for the blocking post goods issue.

Define delivery block via IMG/Logistics execution/Shipping/Deliveries/Define Reasons for Blocking in Shipping.

You can check the box for the blocking for Goods issue.

Now, if this block is set in the delivery, goods issue will be blocked.

The requirement is that

step1 - Against sales order the delivery and picking should be allowed

Step2 - Here the system should stop the goods issue until approved

Hi Raghava,

Yes this can be done by defining you own reason for blocking, do as below:

1. Go to SPRO-F5-LE-SHIPPING-DELIVERIES-DEFINE REASONS FOR BLOCKING IN SHIPPING.

Go to New Entries and create a new reason and in this TICK only PGI and donot TICk anything else and save this NEW REASON.

2. Assign this Blocking reason to the delivery type you are using.

So that system will allow you do all activities for that delivery type except for PGI and I think this meets your requirement

The requirement is not fullfilled.

Created new reasons and ticked only for Goods isssue. The new reason assinged to sales order. But system not allowing to create delivery.

Error:Sales order blocked for delivery for so & so reason.

HI Rao,

You have to assign the Reason created to the delivery Type and the Sales order: assign using path:

SPRO-F5-LE-Deliveries-Define reasons for blocking in shipping & Select Delivery Blocks and assign the reason you have created to the Delivery Type.

The requirement is

Sales order created and assigned reasons for blocking in the order ( Customized reason for delivery blocking and restricted only PGI by putting tick mark )

Though the system is restricting the delivery creation.

The should allowed to create delivery against delivery, picking and should restricted the post goods issue until release the block.

Pl respond on priority.

Assign the reason for blocking indicator to the delivery type. This is gonns solve the problem. After you put this the scenario is gonna work the following way.

1.Sales order created - no blocks

2.Delivery create -> picking ->no block

3.PGI -> Blocked for PGI..

Is that waht you are looking at ??
