Hi All

I have continues issue with cleaning up sap solution manager extractor, we are upgrading databases of our manage systems  and also moving it to new host,  and after that we run complete manage system setup, but i find that old extractor not removed but new extractor created, for example if i run upgrade oracle from 10g to 11g or move database from host X to host Y, old extractor still left in extractor frame work, I am here seeking good approach to cleaning up extractor once systems moved or upgraded

Thanks

Dinesh

Hi,

Why dont you stop the monitoring on the manage system before the upgrade . Once all the changes are done do the config again.

Below are the steps to stop monitoring.

Open transaction solman_workcenter, navigate to:

  1. Solution Manager Administration
  2. Framework
  3. Extractor Framework
  4. Click on Filter, input your System ID
  5. Click on DEACTIVATE

Thanks
