Few Table spaces are unlimited

Hello All,

I have one query about table space is unlimeited .

How we can make table space unlimited ? what is the meaning unlimited ? can we extend table space which is showing unlimited ?

Hi John,

It implies Maximum size the tablespace can be extended. This can be achieved by making the datafiles under the tablespace as autoextend on .

If we extend the table space with less value , it will show unlimited ?

What is the advantages of unlimited ?

why it is showing used 0% , Table space will grow ? in future ?

Hi ,

Are you using dba tools 620 version.

This is caused by a program error, which only occurs when the old MAXEXTENTS value is UNLIMITED (that is, 2147483745 or higher).

Note 688942 - SAPDBA: Reorganization changes MAXEXTENTS UNLIMITED to 100
