SAP stops during ATP

Issue - When an order is booked and saved for few months and then if sold to party is changed and if the MoQs of one of the part among many has changed to a greater value then when we hit enter after changing Sold to /Ship to the system hangs up with no results. Work around Solution: Identify which part has MoQ changed and update qty first on that line then change Sold To/Ship to.

Any ideas how to fix it permanently?

Any ideas, thoughts are greatly appreciated.

In standard SAP, the message no. V4082 - when sales order qty is less than MOQ (minimum order qty) is a warning message.

It seems that this message has been enhanced to an error message, therefore when sales order qty is less than MOQ, the order is not saved.

Check with the ABAPer, is this message been changed to an error message, for sales orders?

Before assisting you please let me know ,what is MoQ  and exactly where you have changed Sold to party ?
