Hi Sarang,

Please check the technical setting in the SM59 of the problematic RFC connection, whether target host and system number, IP address refer to correct system and also check the logon and security tab for user name and password, check whether the user is locked or not.

You can do this check automatically in SMSY or LMDB too.

Hi Sarang,

From the error message, "sapdp00" seems a dispatcher service name, but not correct a TP name.

I think maybe you maintained the wrong program name in the RFC destination.

If it didn't help, please check in the rfc trace and work process trace to find out which RFC destination reported the error. And the trace also will give more information about why the error occurred.

Then please find the RFC destination in transaction SM59 and do a connection test. Most likely it will failed. Then please check the technical settings of this RFC destination. Please check if the target host is accessible. Also maybe the gateway trace will contain helpful information.

Best regards,

Shuai Liang

Dear All,

Thank you very much for all your replies. Now the support message is created from production server. Also the back RFC is also working fine. A simple restart was needed after making changes in stms of solman server. STMS version was changed & there problem have started as well as the firewall issue has been resolved now. Thanks for all your support.

Thanks,

Sarang

Hi Sarang,

Better delete the Back RFC and recreate the RFC using managed system setup( 7.1 version) or smsy setup(7.01 version) in solution manager system. if any issue in host or port details it will slove the issue or  show the clear error message. so it will solve the issue.
