How large SAP systems (DB&Service instance) are on HPVM

Hi Folks

I am working for a client who is HP-UX shop on SD2. They have never used HPVM in SAP environment. I am looking for a case study, experience of larger instances (8K+ SAPs) running successfully on HPVM. Please don't laugh if you think only 100K instance large.

Is there anyone who is using it to satisfaction, extensively or anyone who has used it only for failover of production partitions exensively?

Idea is to use HPVM so that over all TCO can be reduced with stacked systems (may be only non-production) sharing HW resources in true sense so that even production failover can be accommodated. I am expecting systems from 2K-15K SAPs sizing.

Thanks in advance. Some numbers will help. I will appreciate if you can through in $$ revenue on SAP platform.

I used in my last project HPVM. and it is working perfectly for fail over on production systems.

as a basis you just need to give you requirement to HP-UX team.  dont think about VM,

you need to give you sizing they will configure.
