SFP: Need full caption in text field

Hi Friends,

I need full cation in text field.

For example:

I've binding the VBELN field.

The field description is 'Sales Document'

but it displays only 'Document.'

Pls go to Palettes-->Layout and here increase the output field length.The default length will be always 10chars. If we want to display more than 10chars then increase this value as per our requirement.

Go to Context and select the VBELN Field.

below you can see the Properties and select the Field label as long.

It will come automatically.Please see the below Image.

Hi Vallamuthu,

Open Layout Palettes > at bottom there is caption setting you can adjust 2 things as below

Position: Alignment of your field caption

Reserve: Space you would like to allocate for your caption. Increase this value for your case as your field caption being truncated.

Plese maintain the size of the output field to 15 characters.

Thanks for your reply.

1) I've changed the length as 20. while binding, it takes length 10.

2) After the binding, I've changed the length, but it displays the full description.

Did you check the "limit lenght" in the Layout?
