Response on Behalf button is disabled in SRM 7.0

Hello Gurus ,

   When I am trying to create Response on behalf for a supplier the button is disabled.

My process.

1.Created the Rfx.

2.Added the bidders.

3.Added the item.

4.Published the Rfx.

Now when I clicked on Response and Awards.

I am not able to see the Response on behalf button .Its disabled.What have I missed.Also can someone tell me about the Intent. As what's the effect if there is a diamond shape on Intent for few bidders and for few its not.

Also when I clicked for those bidders who is having Intent for them I am able to see the Response on Behalf. But for those whose Intent is blank for them I am not able to see Response on Behalf link.

Also I am activated all my bidders as surrogate bidder.

Hello Gaurav Gautam,

answer is given by your screen-shot.

To be able to do surrogate bidding, it is mandatory to have a Bidder Name (Contact Person) assigned to the Company Name (Bidder)

This is not the case for your third Bidders, even if you activated surrogate bidding for your Bidder.

I have the same issue (it is displayed grey so I can not create the RFX response). How can I update the bidder name (contact person) assigned to the company name (Bidder)?
