SOLAR02 Integration with TREX

Fellow Members,

In one of the marketing slides of SAP, I saw the information which says Business Process Documentation can be integrated with TREX.

Functionality

Documents can be assigned to specific process structure element such as scenario, process or process step

Document templates delivered by SAP such as business process procedure, configuration guides

Self-defined templates can be developed

Full-text search  based on TREX (separate installation) is supported for all uploaded documents

Change history and versioning of documents

Digital signature based authorizations to protect documents

Have any of you tried integration SOLAR02 with TREX for searching Project Documents?

Note: I already have Trex installed and currently using it for ITSM searches.

yes you are correct we can do that

you can do content level search with TREX search engine check this old note

Note 750623 - Solution Manager: Full text search in KW documentation

Check the IMG help for the activities Document Management as IMG mentioned above got changed but you can use the tcodes mentioned in that note
