SLA Configuration: Components forwarding functionality

Hi Experts,

I am referring pg no: 47 from the below link:

In session 3.5.1 VAR: COMP_AUTO step it is mentioned "The components for which the forwarding functionality is taking into account have to be defined

previously". My question is how to configure this forwarding functionality.
