DB records getting irregular characters during data migration

Hello all,

I am getting some irregular characters in the testing system, these characters are actually Chinese characters in Dev, but in QAS  they are not shown as Chinese characters.

Could you give me some suggestions..what I need to check? what could be the possible reasons. As I am not an DB expert, hope to get your help.

Hi Danny,

how do you display the chinese characters? What is the character set and national character set of both database?

Please verify with help of the dump function, that the data sets are stored identically in both databases.

Please provide info about source and target platforms. What is method you use for migration?
