Ibase component don’t copy from RfC to change document

Former Member

Hi, experts!

I copied standard roles for ChaRM.

When Change manager release for development RfC, proper ibase component don’t copy to change document.

It occurs if I use copied roles.

I don't see miss authorization in ST01.

Have you any idea why it happens?

Thanks,

Yuliya

Thanks a lot for all replays!

I made
a stupid mistake. According to our authority policy S_RFC should contain only
in one proper role. That’s why I deactivated this authority object in Change
manager role and forgot to add role with S_RFC to my test user.

Now role works fine. I hope

Hi, Experts!

I find the reason of my problem. But I don-t know how to fix it.

My Change Manager doesn’t have some authorization.

If I add SAP_ALL to my test user issues isn’t occur.

Which authorization object responsible for coping Ibase component from RfC to Change document?

Hello Yuliya,

Please check object CRM_IBASE  and note 1727826 - IBase: Authoriz. Group display authorization also other auth. object for CHARM http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMAUTH/Change+Request+Management.

If CRM_IBASE does not work  you have to try st01 tcode.

To be sure of lack of autorization run ST01 tcode for user which doesn't have SAP_ALL profile and analyze the log file for auth. object.

Hi Yuliya,

Could you check settings for copy control using SPRO tcode as depicted ?

Hi,

What about notes 1773863 - Ibase description does not get copied into Scope AB : RFC and 1795400 - ChaRM: IBase cannot be found when creating change document ?

What version of Solman do yuo use ?

Also check Activate Copying Control for Activities using SPRO tcode if it's switched on.

Hi Jansi!

Thank you for advice.

I checked settings which described in the blog. It is correct.

I made customizing for copy control.

I have this issue only if use role for change manager. If I do these steps with full authorizations ibase
component copy without any problem. Unfortunately I can’t find miss authorizations.

Hi Yuliya,

Maintain the correct authoization key(like SMCR_04..) and status profile ( like SMCRHEAD, SMHFHEAD..) in B_userstat authorization objtec for particular status.
