Hi,
We were upgrading our ERP systems for enhancement pack.
During this time our maintenence cycle was open and we had to send some urgent corrections to Productions.
Systems are now upgraded to new enhancement pack. We had to send some urgent corrections for Production new version as well.
Now we have a mix of transports with Old support pack and New Support pack in same maintenance cycle.
When we try to close the maintenance cycle, it reimports all transports to production. We do not want to re-import transports again as it will bring some objects to old version.
We have an option to delete transports from Charm Maintenance cycle.
But we are not sure how Charm will react to this? Will it allow closing Maintenance cycle after deleting all transports within maintenance cycle?
Also is there any better option to address this issue?
Thanks for your help.
Thanks and Regards,
Umesh Patil
In your case you should just remove old transport request from stms queue to your PRD system before you move your project\maintenance cycle in "prepare to production" status and before importing all stack of transports to PRD

Hi Umesh,
Few questions to better understand your situation:
1) Are there any open Change Documents associated with your Maint. Cycle?
2) Would you be generating a new Maint. Cycle for same project? Or you plan to close the Project as well?
3) How important are the open Change Documents in the existing Maint. Cycle?
Regards,
Vivek
