Capturing performance for Enterprise Portal, ITS and SAP applications

I currently am capturing statistic records for SAP applications, and working with both the main records and subrecords. I need to capture similiar data for both the Enterprise Portal and ITS. Could you please provide info on available logs and record formats.

For portal you should use Wily Introscope for performance monitoring.. I believe it can be used for ITS as well.

Log and trace file contain information about the system execution such as:

● Logs are mainly used by administrators to monitor the system operation and to perform error analysis. Logs are typically written to categories.

● Traces are usually used by developers or support specialists to record and analyze the occurrence of certain events in programs during runtime. Traces are typically written to locations.
