I have a requirement to create a pass through scenario (FTP Server A to FTP Server B). There will be multiple files on FTP Server A - all in the same folder - and they all need to be moved to a folder on FTP Server B. So far so good. However, I need to maintain the file names. In the receiver communication channel, I placed a '*' in the filename scheme field thinking that would work. Since it didn't, I searched here on SCN and found that I can't use a '*' in that field.
So I think I need to write the incoming file name to dynamic configuration (ASMA in the Sender Communication channel) and then pick it out of dynamic config (ASMA in the Receiver Channel). But how do I do this without mapping?
hi,
put anything in the receiver file name and use ASMA in sender and receiver - that's all you need to do to achive what you want,

Hi Dave,
Adding little details to what Michal already posted:-
Just tick the file name option (under ASMA) in both sender and receiver file adapter and put a * in receiver file name.
