Hi,
our system:
SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 6
SAP NetWeaver 7.3 EHP 1
SAP_HR 604 0059
EA-HR 606 0021
Portal Business packge: BP ERP ESSWDA 1.50 , BP ERP05 COMMON PARTS 1.61
Issue:
1) I logged into Portal --> ESS --> Salary statement/Personal profile etc...
I am getting blank page as shown below whereas it is working fine in backend/ECC system
2) I tested from sap admin, support giving details
note: i had provided "WebDynpro Namespace" as sap
IT does NOT ask for "WebDynpro Configuration"
I got the same issue
3) Now, In the sap admin, support, test
I did NOT provide the WebDynpro Namespace & press the GO button
Now, It has asked me for WebDynpro Configuration details
Pressed GO button.. It is working fine this time. I could get WebDynpro application get loaded
Information:
The WebDynpro applications are working fine from backend ECC - se80
I had preview the preview the Iview from content admin -- I am facing the same above issue.
Kindly provide your support..
Hi Hussain,
It has been some time since you opened up this thread but hope this helps:
I think you need to modify the iview parameter 'WebDynproConfiguration' on the portal content. Use the configuration name you used while you were testing the application through the system admin -> support.

Hi Hussain,
I have just resolved this problem in my EHP6 Netweaver 7.31 implementation.
This is how I resolved the problem:
1. On the launchpad customizing for Webdynpro ABAP, navigate to Working Time ==>Create Leave Request.
2. Open advanced parameters.
In the block "Application Related Parameters" you have the field Tagret App. Parameters with the value = LRF_SKIP_OVERVIEW_PAGE=X.
3. copy this value.
4.
On the launchpad customizing for Webdynpro ABAP, navigate to Payment ==> Salary statement.
5. Open advanced parameters.
6. Notice that there is no value in the Tagret App. Parameters entry.
7. Paste the value copied in step 3 above in this entry (the entry is grayed out => click on the change button to activate the field)
8. Save your changes and test the payslip from the ESS overview screen again.
Hope this helps.
Robert.

Hi Hussain
This has no link to any application or configuration ID.
Just go to transaction lpd_cust in ERP system
Edit Role ESS with instance Menu
Select option "EXTERNAL header less window" value for parameter Navigation Mode in the portal parameter for respective service.
This will surely resolve the problem.
Above is recommended in note mentioned in the previous response.
thank you

Hi Hussain,
Have you assigned the WD-Application & Configurations to your portal iview ?
I doubt that if you assign above parameter for the respective iviews you will not get above 2,4,5 screen (What you posted in your query), as there were no application / configurations assigned it is asking you to provide the inputs.
Please check it once.

Srikanth Naidu

Hi hussain
I am assuming you are on EHP6 and HR Renewal FP3 or 4.
You are on lesser SP than 5 on netweaver 7.31 so this issue is occurring on few ESS iviews.
This is a ajax framwork issue.
You need to apply note 1710522.
Solution
Refer to SP Patch level link in this note to view the versions including
the fix. Update netweaver to SP5 or above.
If you can't do this then please use below workarounds.
There are 3 possible workarounds:
1. Remove the DTN from the headerless framework, recommended option if
the DTN is not in use for headerless portal.
2. Open the iView with navigation mode 'Display in Separate window'
(navMode 1) instead of 'Display in Separate headerless portal window'
(navMode 3).
3. Set the property 'DTN_ONLY_COLLECTIONS' to false on the DTN of the
headerless framework.
Above will solve this problem.
Kind regards
barin

Hi Hussain,
Khairiyath.
Make sure that you are done with below tasks:
1) Maintained user for employee in infotype -105 / subtype-0001
2) Proper ECC Roles
3) Proper portal roles (ESS WDABAP, Every User)
4) Make sure that you have created a System in portal with the system alias: "SAP_ECC_HumanResources"
5) Make sure about your application alias as "SAP_ECC_HumanResources" in LPD_CUST
6) You have activated the Business functions in transaction code: SFW5 (Switch framework)
7) Activated your services in transaction code: SICF

Hi,
There might be any of the following reasons;
If all the above said reasons are not valid in your case then please attach backend (from SE80) screenshot and also goto ESS iview then click properties. In one of the above screenshot it is showing as launchpad WD abap and I think you need to do anything in launchpad WD.

Hi Hussain,
can you goto Content Admin-> Content Provided by SAP- >End User -> ESS-> then check the preview and if you are using standard then it should display the pages.
Have you maintained the Subtypes in ECC for Personal Profile.
For Payroll you need to have Smart form and which has to be assigned in HRFOR feature.

Dear Hussain,
In the portal there is a tab of System Mappings, Have you defined the correct system which is
pointing to Correct R/3 system with Client details. Also check in pa30 IT0105 subtype 0001 should be maintained, Also check payroll results exists for this employee or not.
Please check other services are giving the same results, or correct results are coming.
Best Regards,
Deepak..
