Acknowledgement from PI to sender FTP system

Hi ,

I have a scenario which has sender as FTP and receiver as ECC

SAP PI should send back an acknowledgement file back to FTP to show that the PO and IBD have been created successfully in SAP, if not then the Idoc should show the error message. The acknowledgement to send back the IBD number, line item number to FTP.

how can i handle this in PI

Hi,

you can use a custom aleaud in which you can add some more fields (IBD num, etc.)

and send it from ECC - use a copy of the standard aleaud report. each approach and always seem to work nicely in my projects,
