Hi Guys,
Is there any standard way to restrict user from creating trip in one of the schema after he/she select from drop down. in PR05.
We are using PR05 for creation of trip also.
Or is there any exit/Badi where i can restrict based on authorization.

Hi Atul
This has come up on the forum quite alot recently and some other posts on this in forum but I guess its less about authorization in this case and more related to overlapping trip schemas.. keep in mind though that an expense report based on a request CAN NEVER BE created in a schema, which allows overlapping. So it will always be correct that the system chooses the schema 2. Schema 1 cannot be used and defaulted for these expense reports. A default schema e.g. (01) can only be used for expense reports without requests.
Also, keeping the above in consideration you could look to force the trip schema (is this for ESS - if so you can do that with the parameter SAP_FITE_TRIP_SCHEMA - see Lukas's approach here also http://scn.sap.com/thread/3415936)
You can also restrict expenses within a trip schema too by using the customizing in V_T706S_RECEIPT in SM30 if you are on EHP2
hope this helps
